💧 SSOP NPC COMMUNITY UPDATE 💧 As water supply is gradually restored to affected areas, SSOP NPC urges residents to keep their taps closed until the system has had sufficient time to recover. Opening taps and using water as soon as supply returns places additional strain on the network, causing reservoirs and towers to drain again before they have an opportunity to refill. This can significantly delay the restoration process and prolong water shortages across the affected areas. We kindly ask all residents to: 💧 Keep taps closed until pressure has stabilised. 💧 Use water sparingly once supply has been fully restored. 💧 Avoid non-essential water usage until Johannesburg Water confirms the system has recovered. By working together and allowing the network time to recover, we can help restore normal water supply to all residents as quickly as possible.
