*UGU Notice - Recieved 15 September 2026 @ 22h43* ‼️ AREA NORTH – SOUTH COAST PIPELINE SHUTDOWN 15 September 2026 Ugu District Municipality wishes to inform residents of a planned shutdown of the South Coast Pipeline. Date: Wednesday, 16 September 2026. Purpose: eThekwini Water and Sanitation to repair a leak on the 600mm pipeline. During the shutdown, no water will be pumped into the South Coast Pipeline. The work is expected to be completed by 18:00, after which the system will be gradually recovering. Affected areas: Scottburgh, Park Rynie, Umzinto, Pennington, Cabana Sands, Crowder, Mahlongwa, Mandawe, Dlangezwa, Okhalweni and Olwasini. Residents may experience low water pressure or intermittent water supply during this period. Further updates will be communicated as work progresses.
