The Moroka community on Thursday marched to demand urgent government intervention over the continued operation of spaza shops owned by foreign nationals. The protest started at the Moroka Police Station before proceeding to the Johannesburg Environmental Health Department, where residents handed over a memorandum outlining their concerns over illegal immigration.
