Dear Residents, Please note that I have just spoken to the Superintendent regarding the water situation. He has advised that his resources are extremely limited at the moment. He has checked with the plumber currently working in the Westville area, who is the only plumber covering that entire side with a number of residents reporting no water. He mentioned he has gone to the Grayleigh side/Dawncliff. The plumber has confirmed he is currently dealing with a large volume of work, but has committed to attending to the Dunkeld side once he is able to. The Superintendent is also stretched thin, with only 2 plumbers currently working in the Kloof area, and that work is still ongoing. Once the plumbers have completed their current jobs, one will be sent to check the Dunkeld side. I have pushed for this as much as I can, but the Superintendent’s hands are similarly tied given the limited resources available. This is the update I have for now…..I will continue following up to see whether the Kloof side work is completed and whether a plumber can be sent to Dunkeld and will update residents as soon as I know more.
